Jenny Ames Consulting Ltd was incorporated one year ago this week. As its our birthday, it seems a good time to look back on what we have done. The time has gone very fast and its been a good first year.

Clients have included universities, for-profit business and individuals. Most work has been associated with the UK Research Excellence Framework, researcher careers, partnership development, and coaching. I’m particularly pleased about this as these three areas map onto our three service offers.

We have worked in various areas of the UK with the South-West, Yorkshire and London being particular hot-spots.

This year has been particularly busy for me personally as I have juggled (and continue to juggle) the business with study to be a coach, focusing on individuals in ‘career transition’. This means people who have or who are thinking of changing career direction, sector or role. Do get in touch if you are interested in this.

Study will continue for the first half of the second year of the company after which I will launch the coaching offer on the website. I’ll be letting you know when this has happened in a post as well as on social media – so watch out for this!

But the other offers will continue and also evolve, as coaching takes off.

Heartfelt thanks to all our clients, colleagues who have provided advice and encouragement, and well-wishers. Here’s to a great second year!
